Mel Makun, RN, RRT, AE-C, BLS instructor
Founder & Director of Guiding Hands Health Services.
With over two decades of experience in healthcare and clinical leadership, Mel Makun brings both expertise and empathy to every aspect of Guiding Hands Health Services. As a Dual- Credentialed Registered Nurse, Registered Respiratory Therapist and Certified Asthma Educator, she has a deep understanding of the challenges healthcare professionals and caregivers face each day.
Mel founded Guiding Hands Health Services with one purpose in mind; to bridge the gap between education and practice. Her mission is to empower healthcare teams, caregivers, and individuals through personalized, relatable, and results-driven education.
Her work extends beyond consulting; it’s about building confidence, improving outcomes, and ensuring that every person she works with feels supported, informed, and capable of delivering exceptional care.
